12.7 mm machine-gun on bipod 6T19 (index 6ð57), installed on infantry mount 6T20 (index 6ð60), ensures firing in vertical and horizontal surfaces, in a lying position, on a knee and standing in a trench.
Thanks to its quick removal from infantry mount 6T20, 12.7 mm machine-gun on bipod 6T19 (index 6ð57) provides firing from an unequipped emplacement on the ground, from a trench, installations, vehicles platforms as well as defeat of low-flying air targets at slant distances of up to 1500 m at any convenient positions of the gunner.
12.7 mm cartridges with bullets â-32 (armor-piercing-incendiary), âúô-44í (armor-piercing-incendiary-tracer) and âó (armor-piercing-incendiary) are used for firing from the machine-gun.
